Last month has been a great adventure. My 4 commissioned paintings were installed at Peabody The Gallery SE5 new housing in Camberwell. They also made this little video about me. On the launch day I completed the 4th in a series of painting depicting the local area and culture and they will be on display in the reception there until further notice. It is planned that they will have a rotation of shows from local artists which will be great for the community.

I have also been doing a few primary school workshops. One to create a giant whale from recycled materials and another to paint a huge mural reflecting the pupils drawings about their cultures.

I also did a drop in mindful painting session with the Culture Lounge at Kings and another art / activism workshop which focused on creative communication which was lots of fun and I will be working with Kings again this month as part of their Make Do Play – an activity week encouraging creativity and well being.

Coming up this summer I will have two of my painted Elmer Elephants on display in Suffolk and Plymouth with Wild in Art Public Art trails. And 2 giant mural projects coming soon… Over and out, thank you to all my clients for your business and support as always.
Love happy little painter and drawer of many things… Jenny Leonard
