Virtual School Workshops

Virtual art workshops and talks for schools and universities…
I host virtual drawing and creative workshops with easy and fun activities for each pupil and I can even make a virtual art gallery images from the results. My camera rig is set up to film just my hands drawings and demonstrating each activity. All my activities are accessible and can be tailored for all ages and abilities. I have worked with over 100 schools, universities and community groups across the world and designed workshop sessions relating to current curriculum and study themes. I have also run sessions for teachers and lecturers to make their online sessions more visual and creative.
In the past I wrote the National Curriculum and training programme for the Art Team for NCS and produced online learning modules for tutors at Go Student. I have also been working as a workshop leader with Create for a number of years.

In person…
I’m available for art workshops in and around Manchester for Primary and Secondary Schools. I’m fully DBS checked and in the past I’ve been involved in schools Book week, Cultural week, and Environment week. Whatever your theme I can tailor a day to suit your needs.
I can meet you on site if you have a school trip or come directly to your school. I offer arts activities that cover skills outlined in the National Curriculum. I often work with schools directly to design workshops and days that suit their current topic or theme week. Popular workshops I provide for schools include large scale collaborative murals, recycled arts projects and creative drawing days. All workshops are inclusive and for students of all abilities.

Teacher Testimonials:

“The workshops that Jenny led for our students left them inspired with creativity and a sense of purpose. Jenny’s belief that art is for everyone is contagious and empowers everyone she works with. I highly recommend any organisation to collaborate with Jenny, for she can bring a new dimension to your everyday work that is thought-provoking, colourful and fun!”
– Sivaranjani Subramanian, Jitheshraj Scholarship Online Art Workshop

Jenny did a most amazing Q&A with my students in Martinique , French West Indies, about her painting over a Skype video conference in our lecture hall. The students were thrilled and the exchange most exhilarating. They asked many more than the questions they had prepared as Jenny kindly gave us so much time and her passion and enthusiasm were so catchy. Now I have to take all 60 of them to London! Thank you again SO much Jenny!
-Chantal L Morand-Quimber, Teacher, Bellevue High School

“Jenny came to our school to work with our year 2 children. She ran a series of workshops to link in with our London topic. She was fantastic with the children, her activities were perfectly pitched and she considered the age of the children. The work produced was vibrant, exciting and colourful and gave the children a great opportunity to be creative. Jenny was very professional and great to work with. We will definitely use her again.”
– Hannah Gallagher, year 2 teacher at Dovers Green Infant School.

“The art session that we did with Jenny was fantastic. Her enthusiasm kept the children interested throughout and she modelled howto sketch very well before the children then had a go. It rounded off a wonderful London topic to meet Jenny and sketch some iconic London landmarks with her.”-
– Brad Howarth, Year 6 Yeacher, Wylye Valley School.

“It has been a pleasure having Jenny work with our pupils over the past two days to sketch out and paint our library’s book bench… The children who helped to design and paint the bench are so pleased with the result and grateful to Jenny for bringing their design to life.”
– Roseanne Sparkes, Librarian, Broadford Primary School.
