The Case Of The Stolen Paintings. – Jenny Leonard.
In short: My artwork is currently on sale London wide! Illegally!
3 of my paintings have been reproduced on mobile phone cases and ipad cases across high street stores in London. Mainly they are stocked in tourist souvenir shops in Oxford street, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square and surrounding areas in Westminster and Southwark. So far I have a list of around 20+ stockists, and there’s probably more out there as they seem to be everywhere!
I currently have a counterfeit case with Trading Standards and a private copyright lawyer who is helping me, if you see any of them please take photos and send to me! Or if you have any information regarding who the wholesaler is or where they are being reproduced please do get in touch. Any information is very much appreciated. At the moment they have been in circulation for around 3 years and I have known about it just over a year now… so starting to get the ball rolling to stop this.
